We are proud to announce that another very renowned bank in Europe has placed its trust in us and is automating its payment transaction testing with the Unifits Test Engine.
With more than 45,000 employees and 2,100 branches as well as over 16 million customers in seven countries, Erste Group is one of the leading financial institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. Based on an extensive tender, Erste Group selected Unifits as the provider for the automation of its payment transaction tests. The objective of Erste Group’s tender was to find and subsequently implement a solution that fully automates and streamlines the testing processes for payment transactions within the bank and with corporate clients to make payment testing more efficient and cost-effective.
Related to payment processing, Erste Group is organized in a central clearing model, where Erste Group Bank is acting as the internal clearing partner for all CEE entities, their subsidiaries, and savings banks. This means that most of them settle TARGET2, but also EURO1, STEP2 as well as foreign payments via ERSTE Group Bank.
All these clearing and settlement infrastructures and, of course, the payment initiation by corporate customers is simulated by the Unifits Test Engine. This enables independent, reliable and automated payment transaction testing as well as a considerable saving of time and resources.
